Symmetry Electronics is looking for a full-time Technical Marketing Engineer to help provide technical support to our engineering customer base and within our eCommerce division, www.semiconductorstore.com

Job Qualifications:

BSEE / Computer Engineering Degree or equivalent required. Aggressive, motivated can-do attitude! Excellent written / verbal communication and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented and capable of multitasking as well as familiar with electronic components, hardware engineering, customer service, and technical support. Strong Internet and computer skills as well as a familiarity with eCommerce websites are extremely helpful.

Job Description:

• Help answer technical questions from engineering customers regarding our supplier’s products
• Check datasheets and existing documentation
• Install and use product development kits to help with technical support questions
• Assist in training sales staff on new lines and products and keeping abreast of roadmaps, changes, and updates in products and technologies
• Utilize and communicate with internal and external resources (REPs, Suppliers, Sales, & Management)

• Enter description information and features into a database about supplier products
• Group products into categories to help engineers find the parts they are looking for
• Build electronic component kits to enhance the ability to cross-sell more than one product at a time
• Enter specifications for products to be used by a parametric search tool

• Screen and process customer returns and discrepancies
• Maintains system database on supplier due dates, lead-times, part numbers, and product information
• Act as a liaison between suppliers and sales divisions for product information and support of marketing programs
• Provide excellent customer service
